Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2007. Female patient, 28 years of age, weighting 118.2 lb, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, body temperature increased, convulsion, convulsive threshold lowered, emotional disorder, heart rate increased, loss of consciousness. Meperidine dosage: 30MG Q8MIN PRN INJ. Patient recovered.

Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Apr 22, 2005. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with endoscopy gastrointestinal, sedation and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, blood creatinine increased, blood pressure increased, pneumonia , procedural complication, pyrexia. Meperidine dosage: 50 MG; 2MG. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, agitation, blood pressure increased, confusional state, heart rate increased, respiratory rate increased, somnolence, speech disorder. Meperidine dosage: 50 MG,. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, PROMETHAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
