Meperidine Side Effects Report #5234497-4
Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2007. Female patient, 74 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, confusional state, dehydration, depressed level of consciousness, hypotension, pain , respiratory rate decreased, urinary tract infection . Meperidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN AND HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE. Patient recovered.

Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Apr 22, 2005. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with endoscopy gastrointestinal, sedation and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, blood creatinine increased, blood pressure increased, pneumonia , procedural complication, pyrexia. Meperidine dosage: 50 MG; 2MG. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM. Patient recovered.

Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 23, 2006. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with endoscopy  and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, blood glucose increased, cardio-respiratory arrest, heart rate increased, hypertension, loss of consciousness, oxygen saturation decreased, renal impairment. Meperidine dosage: 50 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with VERSED. Patient recovered.
