Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 25, 2007. Female patient, 55 years of age, weighting 145.0 lb, was diagnosed with pain , nausea  and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , cardio-respiratory arrest, convulsion, diarrhoea, fall , irritable bowel syndrome , loss of consciousness, nausea . Meperidine dosage: 100 MG Q3H IV. During the same period patient was treated with PROMETHAZINE, INDERAL, LEXAPRO, IMITREX, AMBIEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anxiety , back pain , confusional state, crying, disorientation, foaming at mouth, heart rate increased, muscle rigidity. Meperidine dosage: 10MG Q10 MIN INJ. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , condition aggravated, overdose. Meperidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, OXYCODONE, METHADONE, NORTIPTYLINE, HYDROXYZINE HYDROCHLORIDE, AMITRIPTYLIUNE, GABAPENTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
