Male patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with psychotic disorder , essential hypertension, epilepsy  and was treated with Memantine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: akinesia, ammonia increased, bedridden, blood pressure increased, body temperature increased, cerebral atrophy, cerebral haematoma, cognitive deterioration. Memantine dosage: 20 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, VALPROIC ACID, DEPAKINE, APPROVEL, TANAKAN, DOLIPRANE. Patient recovered.
