Melphalan side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 21, 2007. Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma  and was treated with Melphalan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, febrile neutropenia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia. Melphalan dosage: 2MG EVERY DAY PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, TRAMAL, ZOMETA, SIMVASTATIN, RAMIPRIL, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM. Patient recovered.

Melphalan dosage: 320MG SINGLE DOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/28/2005.
