Melphalan Side Effects Report #4712242-6
Melphalan side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 24, 2003. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with stem cell transplant, immunosuppression and was treated with Melphalan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, bronchial obstruction, bronchitis chronic, dialysis , dysphagia, multi-organ failure, pharyngitis, renal failure acute, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Melphalan dosage: 170MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with FLUDARA, CYCLOSPORINE, METHOTREXATE, LENOGRASTIM, CEFPIROME SULPHATE, MINOCYCLINE HYDROCHLORIDE, FLUCONAZOLE, MEROPENEM TRIHYDRATE. Patient died on 12/18/2002.
