Melphalan side effect was reported by a Physician from on Oct 07, 2003. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma  and was treated with Melphalan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridium difficile toxin test positive, culture stool negative, diarrhoea, dizziness , febrile neutropenia, folliculitis, palpitations, syncope. Melphalan dosage: 400MG CUMULATIVE DOSE. During the same period patient was treated with THALIDOMIDE, GABAPENTIN, DIFLUCAN, ATENOLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
