Meloxicam side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Feb 27, 2007. Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Meloxicam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: barrett's oesophagus, chest pain , duodenal ulcer, duodenitis, helicobacter pylori identification test positive, vomiting. Meloxicam dosage: 15 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, PREDISOLONE, RISEDRONIC ACID, OMEPRAZOLE, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, SALBUTAMOL, ALIMEMAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
