Meloxicam and pericarditis Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Meloxicam Side Effects Report #5470344-3
Meloxicam side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on Sept 13, 2007. Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Meloxicam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriosclerosis, aspiration, coronary artery disease , intestinal ischaemia, pericarditis. Meloxicam dosage: 7.5 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, OMEPRAZOLE, VITAMIN D, FOLIC ACID. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriosclerosis, aspiration, coronary artery disease , intestinal ischaemia, pericarditis. Meloxicam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CODEINE PHOSPHATE AND ACETAMINOPHEN, DIGOXIN, FOLIC ACID, OMEPRAZOLE, VITAMIN D. Patient died.

Meloxicam dosage: 7.5 MG (7.5 MG, 1 IN 1 D) ORAL. Patient died.
