Male patient, 82 years of age, weighting 211.6 lb, was diagnosed with osteoarthritis , urticaria and was treated with Meloxicam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, treatment noncompliance, urticaria. Meloxicam dosage: 7.5 MG DAILY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
