Mellaril side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on May 19, 2003. Female patient, 35 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Mellaril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, overdose, suicide attempt, ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia. Mellaril dosage: 200 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with ZYPREXA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Mellaril side effect was reported by a Physician from BRAZIL on Feb 18, 2008. Female patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Mellaril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, suicide attempt. Mellaril dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLONAZEPAM, ALBUTEROL. Patient recovered.
