Meiact side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Feb 23, 2009. Female patient, child 1 years of age, was diagnosed with otitis media and was treated with Meiact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: carnitine decreased, hypoglycaemia, unresponsive to stimuli. Meiact dosage: 81 MG ORALLY. During the same period patient was treated with MEIACT MS FINE GRANULES, ANTIBIOTICS, AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE, PROCATEROL HYDROCHLORIDE HYDRATE, CYPROHEPTADINE HYDROCHLORIDDE HYDRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with MEIACT MS FINE GRANULES, ANTIBIOTICS, AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE, PROCATEROL HYDROCHLORIDE HYDRATE, CYPROHEPTADINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
