Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 133.0 lb, was diagnosed with weight decreased and was treated with Megestrol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea exacerbated, fatigue, pulmonary embolism . Megestrol dosage: 800 MG (20 ML) EVERY DAY BY MOUTH. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOPLATIN, PACLITAXEL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Megestrol dosage: 40 MG QID PO. During the same period patient was treated with LUPRON, PROCRIT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
