Megestrol side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 22, 2008. Female patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with decreased appetite and was treated with Megestrol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adrenal insufficiency, asthenia, breath sounds abnormal, cachexia, cardiac murmur, cognitive disorder, condition aggravated, cough, delirium. Megestrol dosage: 400 MG;QD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Megestrol dosage: 400MG. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOFLOXACIN, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
