Megace side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 26, 2007. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 191.4 lb, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma What is  multiple myeloma and was treated with Megace. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, fall What is  fall, hepatic encephalopathy, orthostatic hypotension, pyrexia, unresponsive to stimuli, vomiting. Megace dosage: 800 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with ZEVALIN, VORICONAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/22/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure high output, cardiac murmur, myalgia, oedema peripheral, pyrexia, venous pressure jugular increased. Megace dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with STAVUDINE, LAMIVUDINE, NEVIRAPINE, SPIRONOLACTONE, FRUSEMIDE, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
