Female patient, weighting 122.0 lb, was diagnosed with pancreatic carcinoma metastatic, weight decreased and was treated with Megace. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, ascites, back pain , condition aggravated, decreased appetite, deep vein thrombosis , fatigue, fluid overload, oedema peripheral. Megace dosage: 800 MG QDAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with GEMZAR, PROCRIT, TARCEVA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
