Female patient, 83 years of age, weighting 134.3 lb, was diagnosed with increased appetite, oral intake reduced and was treated with Megace. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain
, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatinine increased, creatinine renal clearance decreased, white blood cell count increased. Megace dosage: 625 MG QDAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with MEGACE ES, PROGESTERONE, IRON SUPPLEMENT, ATENOLOL. Patient was hospitalized.
