Mefoxin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Mar 15, 2006. Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Mefoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, clostridium colitis, deep vein thrombosis , hypotension, hypoxia, ileal perforation, ileitis, multi-organ failure, peritonitis. Mefoxin dosage: unknown. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: breast prosthesis user, cardiac arrest , enterococcal infection, erythema multiforme, hypotension, implant site effusion, incision site infection, lung infection. Mefoxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VALGANCICLOVIR HYDROCHLORIDE, AMIKACIN, KANAMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute pulmonary oedema, hypotension, tachycardia, ventricular hypokinesia. Mefoxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ATRACURIUM BESYLATE, PROPOFOL, REMIFENTANIL HYDROCHLORIDE, BETAMETHASONE, ALBUTEROL, MAGNESIUM SULPHATE. Patient recovered.
