Mefenamic Side Effects Report #5132476-9
Mefenamic side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SWITZERLAND on July 01, 2005. Female patient was diagnosed with ill-defined disorder and was treated with Mefenamic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute pulmonary oedema, anorexia, cardiac failure, cardiac failure acute, constipation , delirium, diarrhoea, fall , fluid overload. Mefenamic dosage: 1500 MG, DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CONCOR, DIHYDROERGOTAMINE MESYLATE, SERESTA, LESCOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Mefenamic dosage: 1500 MG DAILY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CONCOR, DIOVAN HCT, DIHYDROERGOTAMINE MESYLATE, OXAZEPAM, LESCOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with dysmenorrhoea and was treated with Mefenamic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anal fissure, cholelithiasis, condition aggravated, constipation , duodenal ulcer, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, goitre, hysterectomy . Mefenamic dosage: 750 MG DAILY, PO. During the same period patient was treated with PROVERA, SLOW FE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with arthritis  and was treated with Mefenamic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, constipation , erosive duodenitis, gastrointestinal disorder, hypersomnia, insomnia, mobility decreased, myalgia, peptic ulcer haemorrhage. Mefenamic dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CELEBREX, BEXTRA, ACETAMINOPHEN AND OXYCODONE, EXTRA STRENGTH TYLENOL, ACETAMINOPHEN AND HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
