Medrol Side Effects Report #5088680-1
Medrol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on July 19, 2006. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Medrol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, chronic allograft nephropathy, crepitations, dyspnoea, haemodialysis, interstitial lung disease, oedema peripheral, pneumonia legionella, pyrexia. Medrol dosage: 4 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with CELLCEPT, NEORAL, MIZORIBINE, LYMPHOGLOBULINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/31/2006.

Medrol dosage: 64 MG (32 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYLCYSTEINE, LAMOTRIGINE, CLOBAZAM, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient died on 07/09/2003.
