Maxzide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 18, 2006. Female patient, 79 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Maxzide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood sodium decreased, chest pain , fall , hallucination, mental status changes, rib fracture. Maxzide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX, AMBIEN, METOPROLOL, VICODIN, VESICARE, ZOCOR, XANAX, MAXALT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension, arthralgia and was treated with Maxzide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, blood cholesterol increased, cerebrovascular accident, chest pain , dyspnoea, fibroma, headache , transient ischaemic attack. Maxzide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIOXX, VASOTEC RPD, CLONIDINE, TOPROL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
