Mavik side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 08, 2005. Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 165.0 lb, was diagnosed with blood pressure increased and was treated with Mavik. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: carotid artery stenosis, cerebral infarction, cerebral thrombosis, cerebrovascular accident, dysphagia, hemiparesis, knee arthroplasty, post procedural complication, visual disturbance. Mavik dosage: 1 MG, 1 IN 1 D, PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYL SALICYLIC ACID USP BAT, LEVOTHYROXINE, PARACETAMOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
