Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 116.8 lb, was diagnosed with spinal anaesthesia and was treated with Marcaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , procedural complication, pulmonary embolism . Marcaine dosage: 4 ML GIVEN AT L4/5. Patient recovered.
