Marcaine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Dec 19, 2005. Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with spinal anaesthesia, infection prophylaxis and was treated with Marcaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cauda equina syndrome, difficulty in walking, dysaesthesia, gait disturbance, neurotoxicity, pain in extremity. Marcaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BETADINE. Patient recovered.
