Marcain side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Oct 25, 2006. Female patient, 21 years of age, was diagnosed with spinal anaesthesia, hyperthyroidism and was treated with Marcain. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, cardiotoxicity, loss of consciousness, respiratory arrest. Marcain dosage: 2.4 ML IN L2/3 INTERSPACE IN THE RIGHT LATERAL. During the same period patient was treated with PROPYLTHIOURACIL. Patient recovered.
