Maprotiline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Jan 16, 2008. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with depression What is  depression and was treated with Maprotiline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, labile blood pressure, nausea What is  nausea, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pyrexia, rhabdomyolysis, urinary retention. Maprotiline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HALOPERIDOL, CLOMIPRAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
