Mannitol Side Effects Report #4956318-7
Mannitol side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Mar 13, 2006. Male patient, 15 years of age, weighting 119.0 lb, was diagnosed with reduction of increased intracranial pressure and was treated with Mannitol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, electrocardiogram t wave peaked, hyperkalaemia, hyponatraemia, metabolic acidosis. Mannitol dosage: 300 ML, INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with LACTATE RINGER SOLUTION, SEVOFLURANE, FENTANYL CITRATE, VECURONIUM BROMIDE. Patient recovered.
