Magnesium side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 17, 2007. Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 209.4 lb, was diagnosed with blood magnesium decreased and was treated with Magnesium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, diarrhoea, electrolyte imbalance, hyperkalaemia, polyuria, renal failure acute. Magnesium dosage: 300-400 MG BID TO TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Magnesium side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 19, 2006. Female patient, 38 years of age, weighting 219.0 lb, was treated with Magnesium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: metabolic acidosis, pseudomonas infection, renal failure acute, rhabdomyolysis, serotonin syndrome, staphylococcal infection What is  staphylococcal infection. Magnesium dosage: 40 MG, 2/D. During the same period patient was treated with NEURONTIN, PRINIVIL, PLAVIX, LANTUS, ALDACTONE, LOPRESSOR, LASIX, PERCOCET. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
