Magnesium side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on Nov 21, 2006. Female patient, 31 years of age, was diagnosed with convulsion, induction of anaesthesia and was treated with Magnesium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, electroencephalogram abnormal, encephalopathy, hypotension, ischaemia, multi-organ failure, prescribed overdose, renal impairment. Magnesium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN, PROPOFOL, PENTOTHAL, MIDAZOLAM, DIAZEPAM, LORAZEPAM, CITRATE. Patient died.

Female patient, 33 years of age, weighting 125.0 lb, was diagnosed with colonoscopy  and was treated with Magnesium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, headache , hypervolaemia, hyponatraemia, mental disorder, oedema peripheral, panic attack, vomiting. Magnesium dosage: 10 FL OZ -296 ML- 3 PO. During the same period patient was treated with MAGNESIUM CITRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adenovirus infection, bacteria stool identified, chills, clostridium colitis, coma, cough, dyspnoea, excitability, peritonitis. Magnesium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL SULPHATE HFA, VORICONAZOLE, NEORAL, DACLIZUMAB, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, PIPERACILLIN, SULBACTAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacteria stool identified, chills, clostridial infection, clostridium colitis, coma, cough, dyspnoea, peritonitis, pneumonia . Magnesium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SALBUTAMOL, VORICONAZOLE, NEORAL, HYDROCORTISONE, DACLIZUMAB, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/08/2005.
