Magnesium side effect was reported by a Physician from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Dec 22, 2005. Female patient, 71 years of age, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with constipation , gastric ulcer, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, irritable bowel syndrome  and was treated with Magnesium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphasia , asthenia, cerebral artery occlusion. Magnesium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PANTOPRAZOLE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, ISRADIPINE, FENOFIBRATE, INSULIN, PRAVASTATIN, ZELMAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient recovered.

Magnesium side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 23, 2005. Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with constipation  and was treated with Magnesium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, asthenia, dysstasia, mental status changes, muscular weakness. Magnesium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MAGNESIUM CITRIDE SOLN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
