Macugen Side Effects Report #5236418-7
Macugen side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRALIA on Jan 23, 2007. Female patient, 81 years of age, weighting 147.7 lb, was treated with Macugen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, dysphagia, fibrosis, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hyponatraemia, stevens-johnson syndrome. Macugen dosage: (0.3 MG, 1 IN 6 WK), INTRAVITREOUS. During the same period patient was treated with IRBESARTAN, ACIMAX, ADALAT ORSO, SOLPRIN, TEMAZEPAM, QUINBISUL, NORMACOL, STEMZINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
