Macrodantin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from AUSTRALIA on Aug 22, 2006. Female patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with cystitis and was treated with Macrodantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, hepatic encephalopathy, hyperthyroidism. Macrodantin dosage: 100 MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PROPYLTHIOURACIL, MORPHINE, MAXOLON, OXYCONTIN, FLUOXETINE, DIAZEPAM, ATENOLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/02/2006.
