Macrobid side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 20, 2008. Female patient, 81 years of age, weighting 160.1 lb, was diagnosed with cystitis, sleep disorder  and was treated with Macrobid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, fall , feeling cold, loss of consciousness, rash , urticaria. Macrobid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRAZODONE, LISINOPRIL, GLIPIZIDE, METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Macrobid side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Mar 12, 2009. Female patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with back pain , insomnia, intercostal neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia  and was treated with Macrobid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , chest pain , loss of consciousness. Macrobid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OPANA, ALPRAZOLAM, PROMETHAZINE, ZOLPIDEM, PROZAC, TOPAMAX, NEXIUM. Patient died on 01/13/2009.
