Macrobid side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 10, 2006. Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , sinusitis  and was treated with Macrobid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , fatigue, hepatic enzyme increased, jaundice , nausea , urine colour abnormal. Macrobid dosage: 100 MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with KETEK, ALLEGRA, TYLENOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 51 years of age, weighting 147.0 lb, was diagnosed with cystoscopy, stent placement and was treated with Macrobid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, confusional state, hepatic failure, jaundice , nausea . Macrobid dosage: 100MG Q DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with UROGESIC BLUE, UNIRETIC, CATAPRES, LOPID, NAPROSYN, GLYBURIDE, LORTAB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
