Macrobid side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 23, 2007. Female patient, 43 years of age, weighting 130.0 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Macrobid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, anxiety , arthralgia, asthenia, diarrhoea, headache , heart rate increased, hypoglycaemia, impaired work ability. Macrobid dosage: 100 MG TWICE A DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient recovered.

Macrobid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 23, 2006. Male patient was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Macrobid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, diarrhoea, rash erythematous, red man syndrome. Macrobid dosage: 100 MG, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
