Mabcampath and thrombocytopenia Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Mabcampath Side Effects Report #4693950-2
Mabcampath side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on June 07, 2005. Male patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis  and was treated with Mabcampath. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage, mouth injury, prothrombin time shortened, subarachnoid haemorrhage, thrombocytopenia, white blood cell count increased. Mabcampath dosage: 24 MG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with DIPHENHYDRAMINE, DEXAMETHASONE, ACETAMINOPHEN, VALACYCLOVIR, RANITIDINE, TYLENOL ALLERGY SINUS, CETIRIZINE, DOXYLAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/03/2005.
