Luvox and completed suicide Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Luvox Side Effects Report #6108661-6
Luvox side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Feb 13, 2009. Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Luvox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activation syndrome, agitation, anxiety , asphyxia, completed suicide, condition aggravated, depression , feeling guilty. Luvox dosage: 75 MG (75 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MIANSERIN. Patient died on 05/17/2007.

Luvox side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on Dec 12, 2008. Female patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Luvox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acne , anorexia, completed suicide, impulse-control disorder, impulsive behaviour, incorrect dose administered, weight decreased. Luvox dosage: 50 MG (25 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ETHYL LOFLAZEPATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/14/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: completed suicide, convulsion, respiratory arrest. Luvox dosage: DAILY DOSE: 200 MILLIGRAM(S). During the same period patient was treated with LULLAN, DESYREL, NELBON. Patient died on 10/17/2005.

During the same period patient was treated with ROHYPNOL, DOGMATYL, AKINETON. Patient died on 12/08/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, anorexia, carbon monoxide poisoning , completed suicide, confusional state, constipation , decreased interest, depression , impulsive behaviour. Luvox dosage: 25 MG (25 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ETHYL LOFLAZEPATE, ALPRAZOLAM, MILNACIPRAN HYDROCHLORIDE, CLOTIAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/14/2008.
