Loxapine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 12, 2008. Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 163.0 lb, was diagnosed with delusion, paranoia and was treated with Loxapine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: mental impairment, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, tremor. Loxapine dosage: 20 MG BID PO. Patient recovered.

Loxapine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 18, 2007. Female patient, 63 years of age, weighting 120.0 lb, was treated with Loxapine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: extrapyramidal disorder, head lag, muscle rigidity, neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Loxapine dosage: 5MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with RISPERDAL, RISPERIDONE, BENZTROPINE, MACRODANTIN, CIPROFLOXACIN, MOLINDONE, LORAZEPAM. Patient recovered.
