Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Lovastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, hepatic enzyme increased, muscular weakness. Lovastatin dosage: 80MG EVERY DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with DILTIAZEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
