Lovastatin side effect was reported by a Physician from on June 20, 2005. Male patient, 34 years of age, weighting 170.0 lb, was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis and was treated with Lovastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, muscle spasms. Lovastatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOTHYROXINE, ATENOLOL, LISINOPRIL, LANTUS, NOVOLOG. Patient recovered.

Lovastatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NAFCILLIN, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, DOCUSATE, INSULIN, METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
