Lotronex side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 07, 2007. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome  and was treated with Lotronex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bezoar, dysphasia, impaired gastric emptying. Lotronex dosage: 1MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, LANOXIN, COUMADIN, FOLIC ACID, GLUCOPHAGE, ALLOPURINOL, PREMARIN, HYZAAR. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome , anxiety , rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Lotronex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, constipation , defaecation urgency, gastrointestinal injury, gastrointestinal motility disorder, haematochezia, haemorrhoids, impaired gastric emptying, rectal fissure. Lotronex dosage: 1MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PAXIL, PREVACID, REGLAN, ANUSOL, METHOTREXATE. Patient recovered.
