Female patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome  and was treated with Lotronex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, anxiety , asthenia, depression , gastrointestinal injury, nervousness, weight decreased. Lotronex dosage: 1MG ALTERNATE DAYS. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with BENTYL, LOMOTIL, LOTREL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, HYOSCYAMINE. Patient recovered.

Lotronex dosage: 1MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with NEURONTIN, KLONOPIN, RESTORIL, HUMULIN N, PRILOSEC, EXLAX, IMODIUM, MORPHINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
