Lotronex side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 29, 2000. Female patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome  and was treated with Lotronex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, anxiety , asthenia, depression , gastrointestinal injury, nervousness, weight decreased. Lotronex dosage: 1MG ALTERNATE DAYS. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 63 years of age, weighting 139.3 lb, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome , back disorder and was treated with Lotronex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, ascites, asthenia, back pain , blood pressure decreased, blood urea decreased, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, colitis ischaemic, constipation . Lotronex dosage: 1MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with IBUPROFEN, XANAX, ULTRAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with OXYCONTIN, LORCET, CLONIDINE, ACCUPRIL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, POTASSIUM, PREMARIN, CELEXA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
