Losartan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 16, 2009. Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with essential hypertension and was treated with Losartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, diarrhoea, hypokalaemia, nausea What is  nausea. Losartan dosage: 50 MG; DAILY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, ATORVASTATIN, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient died on 02/09/2009.

Male patient, 85 years of age, weighting 212.2 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, hypertension, pain What is  pain and was treated with Losartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, acute prerenal failure, blood potassium increased, electrocardiogram change, prostatic obstruction, prostatomegaly, renal failure acute, vomiting. Losartan dosage: 50 MG PO. During the same period patient was treated with LOSARTAN POTASSIUM, NAPROXEN. Patient recovered.
