Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 93.04 lb, was diagnosed with restlessness, alcohol withdrawal syndrome and was treated with Lorazepam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, computerised tomogram abnormal, confusional state, depressed level of consciousness, disorientation, hallucination, increased viscosity of bronchial secretion. Lorazepam dosage: 2MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
