Lopressor side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Feb 14, 2005. Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse, anxiety  and was treated with Lopressor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , arrhythmia , heart rate irregular, malaise, palpitations, peripheral coldness. Lopressor dosage: 50 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with LORENIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood aldosterone decreased, hyperkalaemia, hypoaldosteronism, palpitations, renal tubular disorder, renin decreased, urine potassium decreased, ventricular tachycardia. Lopressor dosage: 60 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with MARZULENE, CYANOCOBALAMIN, ANPLAG, NITRODERM, DIOVAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
