Lopressor and intentional overdose Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Lopressor Side Effects Report #5272858-8
Lopressor side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Mar 09, 2007. Female patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with incorrect dose administered and was treated with Lopressor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , atrioventricular block complete, cardiac arrest , glasgow coma scale abnormal, intentional overdose, loss of consciousness, shock, vomiting. Lopressor dosage: 200 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with CIBENOL, TOLEDOMIN, SOLANAX, DOGMATYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac failure, cardiac pacemaker insertion, cardio-respiratory arrest, continuous haemodiafiltration, intentional overdose, ischaemia, percutaneous coronary intervention, suicide attempt. Lopressor dosage: 200 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CIPRALAN, CLONAZEPAM. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac failure, cardiac pacemaker insertion, cardio-respiratory arrest, continuous haemodiafiltration, intentional overdose, ischaemia, percutaneous coronary intervention, suicide attempt. Lopressor dosage: 200 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CIPRALAN, CLONAZEPAM. Patient died.
