Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Lopressor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block second degree, bradycardia, dyspnoea, echocardiogram abnormal, ejection fraction decreased, electrocardiogram abnormal, hypotension, left ventricular failure, mitral valve incompetence. Lopressor dosage: 200 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with DILTIAZEM, AMIODARONE, FLECAINIDE ACETATE, ASPIRIN, PREVISCAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
