Lopinavir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SWAZILAND on May 29, 2007. Female patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with systemic antiviral treatment, mental disorder, abnormal behaviour, anxiety disorder and was treated with Lopinavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, ascites, hepatic cirrhosis, hepatic failure, hyperlactacidaemia, mental disorder, torsade de pointes. Lopinavir dosage: 400/100 MG TWICE A DAY. During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE HYDROCHLORIDE, METHADONE HYDROCHLORIDE, PAROXETINE, METHYLPHENIDATE, DIDANOSINE, TENOFOVIR, FOSAMPRENAVIR, OXAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection What is  hiv infection, blood prolactin and was treated with Lopinavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, factor viii deficiency, haematemesis, hepatosplenomegaly, homocystinaemia, hypochromic anaemia, hypotension, lipodystrophy acquired, melaena. Lopinavir dosage: 400 MG / 100 MG. During the same period patient was treated with STAVUDINE, ABACAVIR, CABERGOLINE, DIDANOSINE, EFAVIRENZ, ZIDOVUDINE, LAMIVUDINE, TENOFOVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
