After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diabetes mellitus, hypertension, myocardial infarction. Lopid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BAYCOL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 56 years of age, weighting 205.0 lb, was diagnosed with blood cholesterol increased and was treated with Lopid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cardiac disorder, contraindication to medical treatment, coronary artery occlusion, impaired work ability, muscle injury, myalgia, myocardial infarction, myopathy. Lopid dosage: 600 MG 2X / DAY BY MOUTH. During the same period patient was treated with ZOCOR, DOCOSATE, TERAZOSIN, IBUPROFEN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 200.6 lb, was diagnosed with blood cholesterol increased, arthralgia, myalgia, osteoarthritis  and was treated with Lopid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, anxiety , convulsion, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, haematochezia, heart rate irregular, myocardial infarction, rheumatoid arthritis , sleep apnoea syndrome. Lopid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, VENTILAN, CELEBREX, BEXTRA, VIOXX, CALAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
